To give you an example on baseball or basketball uniforms, the normal cost of tackle twill lettering of "Cardinals" in script with a tail in 2 color is $42.60 If you add in 8" 2 color tackle twill two digit numbers in the back & 4" for the front,  that adds $17.20 for the numbers.  Add the team name and numbers you are at $59.80 just for the lettering. Not including the individual names on the back.

To give you an example on football uniforms, the normal cost of tackle twill lettering of "Cardinals" in full block 3" in 3 colors would be $51.30 & add in 3 color 8" twill numbers on the front and 10" numbers on the back, the total for lettering would be $84.30 just for the lettering.  Not including the individual names on the back.
