Does swallowing cum carry more inherent risks that just oral sex alone?
Does it put you at a greater risk for diseases? Is it possible to get HPV, chlamydia, or herpes in your esophagus or stomach? What if you accidentally inhale the cum and you get the virus in your lungs?
Before you look at this question and decide, I'm a total hoar, I am really just concerned that oral sex is regarded so casually by our youth. I am just wondering about the risks, I'm not giving blow-jobs to a whole football team or anything.
You can get many stds in your mouth and throat but as far as swallowing is concerned, it doesn't increase the risk any more than performing oral sex without swallowing. Your stomach isn't a very hospitable place for life to survive. It's very acidic and will kill any std bacteria or viruses on contact as well as the sperm itself. So you might as well swallow because the most risky part is already done with at that point.
